Edward kyng gret Leuen bissop and Leuen erles and alle myne þeignes on Staffordscire frendliche. And ic segge ou þat myne prestes atte Hampton þat ic habben me treudam giuen ham. Nou wille ic þat he ben and here mynstre frede and here þing þer be heren richeli to be frid mid sac and mid socne so ful and so ford so ic formest it hadden in alle þing. And ic wille giuen ham þan þat ham enyng man enyng on rich boed.
